Rachel Matatyaou is a graduating senior at Carlmont High School and was a part of their journalism program. Within the program, Rachel is the former Publicity Director and former staff writer for the print publication. She won Marketer of the Year at the 2019 National High School Journalism Convention. Rachel oversaw the social media platforms for Carlmont's journalism and directs monthly chalk wall murals. She is attending Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the fall.
